A Bowser is the Aviation term for a Vehicle used to replenish the Fuel and Water supplies of Aircraft at an Airfield or airport. Bowsers, which may be in the form of a self-powered vehicle akin to a Tanker truck, or that of a Trailer pulled by some other vehicle, incorporate their own Pumping equipment for pumping the fuel or water into the aircraft's tanks. |
