Information About

Boomerang (roller Coaster)

Boomerang is a model of Roller Coaster built by Vekoma .

The Boomerang is a roller coaster named after the Australian Weapon of the same name. The ride starts with the train being pulled backwards up a lift hill and then released to drop down the hill and back through the station into a Boomerang element. The train than traverses a vertical loop and up a second lift hill. Once at the top of the second lift hill, the train is released again, repeating the ride in reverse.

There are two variations on the original design. One of theses variations is the Invertigo, which is an inverted version with cars designed such that riders face either other. The other variation, the Super Invertigo, is taller and faster than any other Boomerang and has a slightly different track layout with vertical track sections.

Boomerang coasters also have the tendency to Stall , usually in the Boomerang element. As a result, many Boomerang coasters, including the newer Giant Inverted Boomerang models, are built with an access platform just under the Boomerang element.
