The Black-headed Bulbul ''Pycnonotus atriceps'' is a member of the Bulbul family of Passerine Bird s. It is called ''merbah siam'' in Malay . It is common in lowland forest, and well-distributed all over Peninsular Malaysia and West Malaysia. It has bright-yellow plumage with black bluish glossy head, and blue eyes. it is an insectivor-frugivor bird, and take small fruit as the main diet. it is quite resembles with Black-crested Bulbul , but lack of crest. It flies in small flock, comprising 6-8 individuals.they are the major member in bird-wave. |
