''Black-Ash Inheritance'' is a 1997 Melodic Death Metal MCD by In Flames . It was released as a preview of the upcoming album Whoracle . The tracks were later included on a reissue of The Jester Race . The track "Gyroscope" was later released on the following album, Whoracle, and the "Behind Space" was originally on the bands debut album Lunar Strain , featuring the vocals of Mikael Stanne .
