BOUNDARIES

The constituency is located in the southern part of County Durham in the North East of England . It includes the whole of the Teesdale District and parts of Wear Valley district and Sedgefield borough. The constituency includes Barnard Castle , Middleton-in-Teesdale , Bishop Auckland , Shildon , Spennymoor , Tudhoe and surrounding areas.


Boundary review

Following their review into parliamentary representation in County Durham , the Boundary Commission For England has made very minor alterations to the Bishop Auckland seat.
