Baroni serves in the Assembly on the Education Committee, the Senior Issues Committee, the Joint Committee on the Public Schools and the New Jersey Citizens' Clean Elections Commission. Assemblyman Baroni served on the Mercer County Community College Board of Trustees from 1998-2003. He was a member of the Hamilton Township Planning Board from 1998-2000. Baroni is an Attorney and an Adjunct Professor at the Seton Hall University School Of Law , where he teaches about voting rights and campaign finance reform. Baroni serves on the Foundation Board of both The College Of New Jersey and Mercer County Community College. Baroni is also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Greater Trenton Symphony Orchestra and on the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra . Baroni served as Chief Counsel to Congressman Bob Franks ' campaign for United States Senate and worked on the Presidential campaign of Senator John McCain . He has worked for numerous local officials, including Congressman Chris Smith , Senator Peter Inverso and Mercer County Executive Bob Prunetti . Viewed by many as a rising star in New Jersey politics, he is well known for his tireless work ethic. In his 2005 bid for re-election to the Assembly, he knocked on over 12,000 doors as he mounted an aggressive grassroots campaign. His popularity across party lines is evidenced by his landslide victory. Baroni received a B.A. from George Washington University in History and was awarded a J.D. from the University Of Virginia .
