Bethel College is located in Mishawaka , Indiana , has served students since 1947 . It is a Liberal Arts institution, offering degrees in topics such as church history or Physics and offers one of the country's only American Sign Language degrees. Bethel is affiliated with the Missionary Church denomination and the 1,800 students come from all walks of life, whether inner-city Chicago or western Nigeria .

  • Bethel has grown from 550 students in 1989 to almost 2,000 during the 2005-2006 school year.

  • Bethel's Men's Basketball program won 3 NAIA Division II National Championships from 1995 to 1998.



ACADEMICS


Bethel offers undergraduate programs in nine different departments with a student to teacher ratio of 16:1. The school includes BA and BS degrees in business, education, fine arts, language and literature, mathematics and computer science, natural science, nursing, religion and philosophy, and social sciences. Bethel offers graduate studies in business administration ( MBA ), teaching, education, nursing, ministry, theological studies, and counseling.

Bethel's engineering program 3/2 program offered with the University Of Notre Dame and Tri-State University .

FACILITY DEVELOPMENT


Since 1992 Bethel has undergone nine major building projects including:

  • Four apartment style residence halls

  • 210-bed residence hall

  • Chapel/Fine Arts Center and

  • A second Athletic Center

  • A new five floor Academic/Technology Center

  • Six apartment units


Recently, Bethel purchased land adjacent to the south end of the campus for future building endeavors.


ATHLETICS


Bethel competes in the Mid-Central Conference of National Association Of Intercollegiate Athletics DII as well as the National Christian College Athletic Association . Bethel's athletic teams have won 20 National Championships since 1990. Almost every major sport has seen a championship won. Bethel has even won national cheerleading and dodgeball (yes, dodgeball) championships. Bethel offers the opportunities and facilities to compete in collegiate athletics, intramural competitions, or even some one-on-one with friends.
