GEOGRAPHY Benedict is located at (37.627014, -95.743500). According to the United States Census Bureau , the city has a total area of 0.4 Km&2 (0.2 Mi&2 ), all land. DEMOGRAPHICS As of the Census of 2000, there were 103 people, 46 households, and 23 families residing in the city. The Population Density was 265.1/km&2 (700.8/mi&2). There were 52 housing units at an average density of 133.8/km&2 (353.8/mi&2). The racial makeup of the city was 97.09% White and 2.91% Native American . There were 46 households out of which 23.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 45.7% were Married Couples living together, 4.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 50.0% were non-families. 45.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 21.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.24 and the average family size was 3.39.
