The 2005-2006 tuition was $26,640 for day students and $31,990 for five-day boarding students.

Belmont Hill follows a traditional curriculum, requiring that students entering in the first form take two years of Latin.

Winsor School, an all-girls school located in Boston, is Belmont Hill’s sister school.

One of the school’s traditions is its requirement that, prior to graduation, all students carve a one-foot square block of wood in relief. These “panels” cover the walls of the various academic buildings.

In the years 2001-2005, the top college choices of Belmont Hill graduates were:
Boston College (30), Harvard University (25), Georgetown University (19), Trinity College (15), Tufts University (14), Middlebury College (13), Vanderbilt University (11), Dartmouth College (9), University Of Pennsylvania (9), Bowdoin College (8), Brown University (8), Emory University (7), Holy Cross College (7), and Colby College (6).

Belmont Hill competes athletically in the Independent School League .
