Belmont Courthouse State Historic Park is Nevada State Park in the Toquima Mountains of Nye County , Nevada . It is home to the old Nye County Courthouse, deeded to Nevada State Parks in 1974. The courthouse, open to the public, was purchased by Nye County for a courthouse in 1868. Belmont is located about 45 miles northeast of the town of Tonopah . The area has no services.
