When a patient with Peripheral Facial Paralysis attempts to close the Eye , there is an upward movement of the eye and the Eyelid on the paralysed side of the Face remains open. The Phenomenon is thus named, thanks to the Scottish Anatomist , Surgeon , and Physiologist Sir Charles Bell . |
