The six episode series followed Beech's new life in Australia as he endeavoured to set up a life of leisure and luxury funded by crime and various illegal scams. He was pursued by Stanton, who was eager to arrest him, and he was thought to have died in an explosion in the series final, but it was later revealed he had survived the explosion and had used it to fake his death and return to Britain. Beech later returned to ''The Bill'' in a brief cameo role where he was serving a term of life imprisonment. |
