BBC Look East is the BBC 's regional Television News programme for the eastern region, which comprises:

(NB - the term East here differs from the political East Of England region).

It broadcasts on BBC One from its studio in The Forum, Norwich (where BBC Radio Norfolk is also based) and in Cambridge .


PRESENTERS


The presenters include:

  • Stewart White (anchor)

  • Susie Fowler-Watt (female anchor)



  • Amelia Reynolds (deputised as female anchor whilst Susie was on maternity leave - see picture)

  • Amanda Goodman (presents local news from Cambridge for the western part of the region)

  • Julie Reinger (wacky + weather)

  • Ian Winter (has now left for Birmingham)

  • Mike Liggins

  • Andrew Sinclair

  • Kevin Birch

  • Kim Riley (chief reporter)

  • Shaun Peel (sports)

  • Carol Bundock

  • Helen Morton (between 1994 and 1996)

  • Alex Dunlop (husband of Susie Fowler-Watt)

  • Jenny Kirk (mainly mornings)

  • Rachel Dane

  • James Blatch


Each sub-region then has its own part on the show for the very local news which is broadcast from regional sub-offices. The sub-regional programmes can be viewed on Sky Television - with each area having its own channel number.
