''Baseball Mogul'' is a series of Baseball Computer Game s created by Clay Dreslough and first published in 1997 . ''Baseball Mogul'' was a low-budget product compared to Games like MVP Baseball but it quickly became popular among Baseball Fans . It was the first Sports Game to give players complete control over an entire Baseball Franchise with the ability to set Lineup s, make trades, and the set the price of Tickets and Hot Dog s. As well as the downloadable or CD version of the game, it is also available online. Baseball Mogul online is virtually the same as the CD version but there is a brand new aspect to the game. In the online version that can be accessed from the official Sports Mogul website, you can actually play against real-life human players from around the world competing to become the ultimate sports mogul. Baseball Mogul has gone through many versions. The more recent versions (2004+) have expanded on their predecessors quite a bit (including the introduction of player personalities in Baseball Mogul 2005 ). In March of 2006, Sports Mogul released Baseball Mogul 2007. This version includes some great improvements and additions of new features such as:
GAME PLAY ''Baseball Mogul'' uses a realistic baseball Simulation engine that creates a result for every pitch of the season, producing detailed Box Score s and Statistics . While the game does not have much in the way of graphics, the later versions have become more stylish and much easier to look at and manuever through. The game allows one to start from any year from 1901 until 2006, on any team. One can play hundreds of years into the future with completely fictional players. THE TEAMS ''Baseball Mogul'' uses the ''Sean Lahman Baseball Database'' to provide player statistics from 1901 to the present day. The Players The game records thousands of stats for every player, including detailed minor and major league regular season and Playoff stats. It also records All-Time Leaders in over 70 different categories such as Home Run s and RBI s. SEE ALSO EXTERNAL LINKS
