It is very popular because of the unusual Architecture . It is of a very modern Design . It also has a small track for the Off-road Vehicle s Volkswagen produces. There is also a mini track for the kids too where they can drive small Electric cars. Autostadt has a massive variety of activities and Multimedia things there. There are chances to Design your own car on a Computer or out of plasticene. There is also a chance to learn about the different types of Fuel s. There are two Cinemas where you can watch small films (in German). But one big attraction has to be the chance to see some of the most famous cars of all time. For example, the first Petrol car ever made and John Lennon 's actual Beetle which also featured on the cover for Abbey Road . There are two huge towers as well which are filled with new Volkswagen s. The two towers are connected to the Volkswagen factory by a 700 metre underground tunnel. When cars arrive at the towers they are carried up at a speed of 1.5 metres per second. THE HISTORY Autostadt is of importance because it is situated very close to where the first Volkswagen was born, in Wolfsburg . Autostadt was opened in 2000 by Volkswagen to show the Public a little bit more about what they do. It was also a good opportunity to get some famous cars which had been locked in Crate s to be shown off. It is built right next to Volkswagen's main Factory which is also an attraction.
