GEOGRAPHY

According to the United States Census Bureau , the town has a total area of 92.5 Km&2 (35.7 Mi&2 ). 92.5 km&2 (35.7 mi&2) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.


DEMOGRAPHICS

As of the Census 2 of 2000, there were 580 people, 202 households, and 163 families residing in the town. The Population Density was 6.3/km&2 (16.2/mi&2). There were 210 housing units at an average density of 2.3/km&2 (5.9/mi&2). The racial makeup of the town was 98.45% White , 0.00% African American , 0.17% Native American , 0.00% Asian , 0.00% Pacific Islander , 0.17% from Other Races , and 1.21% from two or more races. 0.17% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There were 202 households out of which 33.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 73.8% were Married Couples living together, 3.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.3% were non-families. 13.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.87 and the average family size was 3.19.
