The Armenian Brotherhood Church started within the Armenian Evangelical Church in the 19th century. There were awakenings in numerous places like Aintab, Marash, Adana. The brothers started to have unofficial meetings, and when the group increased in number, they separated from the Armenian Evangelical Church to form the Armenian Brotherhood Church. The reasons for the separation are many, one of which is that the brothers refused infant baptism. |
