The Arab Gormaz Castle (Spanish: ''Castillo de Gormaz'') is the oldest and largest Citadel in Western Europe. It is located in San Esteban De Gormaz , in the province of Soria , in the Autonomous Community of Castile-Leon , Spain . It was started in 956 by Caliph Al-Hakam II .
