Information About

Appleton West Highschool

Founded in 1938, Appleton West High School is located at 610 N. Badger Ave. in Appleton, WI. West is Appleton's second public school and was built to replace Appleton's first High School(which still today teaches students and was featured in the documentary Super Size me). In fact, the front of West still adorns the name, "Appleton High School", but has now been renamed as the western most high school. Many of Appleton's current residents were taught in Appleton West, and still hold a fondness towards the High School. Today, with an enrollment of approximately 1,600 students, west is accompanied by two other fully enrolled public high schools and two other porochial high schools in Appleton.
