He was a stalwart of the Wales Under 21 Grand Slam victory in 2005, following in the footsteps of Ospreys centre Gavin Henson , who won the same prize in 2003. He is widely regarded as a very talented young back. His positioning and reading of the game, not to mention his ability to apply pressure and charge-down clearance kicks from mediocre opposition, are renowned. He has scored 2 tries in 7 appearances during the Celtic League in the 2005-2006 season, both against Irish province Leinster . He has made one appearance in the newly revamped Powergen Cup , coming on to play left wing early in the game against Gloucester . |
