The Electric Motor turns two wheels continuously: the faster at a rate of 1 revolution per hour, the slower at a rate of 1 revolution per 24 hours. The wheels move continuously, not in steps. The wheels are connected to rings of flat plastic "leaves" that have numbers printed on them. As as new one flips over each minute, it change the appearance of the clock to give the correct time to the latest minute. |
