Amy Archer-gilligan




She was caught when a relative became suspicious that so many were dying at the home. An undercover police woman discovered that Sister Amy was indeed poisoning her charges and the woman was quickly arrested and tried. In 1914 Archer-Gilligan was convicted of murder and sent to Weathersfield Prison for life. She was later place in an insane asylum where she died in 1928 .
