Amir Farshad Ebrahimi




Ebrahimi appears in a controversial videotape in the year 2000, apparently confessing to a link between Iranian political leaders and violent actions of Hezbollah. The alleged circulation of this tape led to the conviction (since vacated) of human rights lawyer and Nobel Peace Prize winner Shirin Ebadi . Ebrahimi was also sentenced to two years in prison. {Link without Title}

He has written two books: ''From Sarband to Blindfold'' and ''Republic of Ghosts,'' both in Persian , which were Banned by Iranian regime, right after being available to the public. As of February, 2006, he is living in Germany and publishing his memories of those days when he was an insider and analyzing Iran’s news.
