Alfred B. Kittredge




Kittredge was reelected in 1903 and served from July 11, 1901, to March 3, 1909; he was an unsuccessful candidate for renomination in 1908. While in the Senate, he was chairman of the Select Committee on Standards, Weights and Measures (Fifty-seventh Congress) and a member of the Committees on Patents (Fifty-eighth and Fifty-ninth Congresses) and Interoceanic Canals (Sixtieth Congress). He engaged in the practice of law at Sioux Falls until his death at Hot Springs, Arkansas in 1911; interment was in Conant Cemetery, East Jaffrey, New Hampshire .
