Alfonso de Anda aka '''Poncho de Anda''' (born July 25 , 1974 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican show host. He is the host for the entertainment segments at the Telemundo morning News Show “Hoy en el Mundo” and the morning show “De Mañanita”. He also has a gossip segment in “Al Rojo Vivo con Maria Celeste”. His career started as a DJ at Alfa 91.3FM, one of the most successful Radio Station s in Mexico City, where he worked as producer and host of his own shows. As a DJ he also hosted “Alfa’s Top Ten” and the news segments “Alfa Entertainment News”. In 2001, he moved from his country Mexico to the United States to work as the main anchor of Fuzion, an entertainment show for MUN2 television. As a TV personality his career includes the video music show “Alfa Dance” and the entertainment show “Estudio Siete” for Television Azteca . Also he recently hosted “The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade” from NYC and ''Ritmo de Noches Latinas Concert'' in Orlando , Florida and the Miss Universe 2005 pageant in Bangkok , Thailand . Also in 2005 he hosted the Emilio Estefan 's Reality show ''Nuevas Voces de America''. With almost ten years of experience Poncho has interviewed big celebrities such as Erasure , Metallica , Café Tacuba , Shakira , Thalia , Julio Iglesias , Robert De Niro , Angelina Jolie and Miguel Bose among others. Between his career of Radio and television personality, Alfonso became part of the musical group “Oz” as Singer and Composer , he also did special appearances in Telemundo’s series ''Los Teens'' and starred in the Independent Film ''Estados'' which received the award for Best Latin Picture in the “Made In Miami Film Festival”.
