GEOGRAPHY Albert is located at 38°27'11" North, 99°0'45" West (38.453153, -99.012461). According to the United States Census Bureau , the city has a total area of 0.6 Km&2 (0.2 Mi&2 ). 0.6 km&2 (0.2 mi&2) of it is land and none of it is covered by water. DEMOGRAPHICS As of the Census of 2000, there were 181 people, 76 households, and 54 families residing in the city. The Population Density was 291.2/km&2 (762.4/mi&2). There were 87 housing units at an average density of 140.0/km&2 (366.5/mi&2). The racial makeup of the city was 98.34% White , 0.00% African American , 0.00% Native American , 0.00% Asian , 0.00% Pacific Islander , 0.55% from Other Races , and 1.10% from two or more races. 2.21% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race. There were 76 households out of which 27.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.2% were Married Couples living together, 5.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.9% were non-families. 28.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 15.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.38 and the average family size was 2.91. In the city the population was spread out with 26.5% under the age of 18, 5.0% from 18 to 24, 19.3% from 25 to 44, 30.4% from 45 to 64, and 18.8% who were 65 years of age or older.
