Aksharaslokam is a traditional way of Sloka chanting, being well practiced in Kerala , the southern most part of India . It was a a time pass media once up on a time but now its active with its poetry-literature face. Kairali Solaka Rangam Palai is one of the a famous Aksharasloka-institution in kerala & MR KN Viswanathan Nair is the heart of the institution who known as 'Slokacharya'; teaches Slokas to the students. AkharaSloka Rule:-Slokam or Sloka is composed of 4 lines of poetry. If one chants one Sloka, the next participant should chant another sloka with the first alphabet of the third line of the formerly chanted sloka. This is the basic rule. Its a good practice to get to know the literature and language. More over its a good memory exercise too. |
