Airport Terminal 2 Station (空港第2ビル駅 ''Kūkō-daini-biru-eki'') is a railway station located in Terminal 2 of Narita International Airport in Narita , Chiba Prefecture , Japan . The station is shared between JR East and Kesei . There is a common concourse on level B1F of the main Terminal 2 building and then platforms below, using the double track originally intended for the Narita Shinkansen . JR East has the northern platform and Kesei the southern platform. The station opened on 3rd December 1992 . There is a security checkpoint between the railway station and the terminal building proper where baggage may be inspected and identification (such as a passport) must be shown. The station is linked to Higashi-Narita Station by a passage. LINES
