BIOGRAPHY Adi Maislinger came from a social democratic household. In 1931 he joined the Communist Party of Germany. In the illegality he was a courier under the code name “Bertl”. In 1935 he was sentenced to prison for eight years because of the “preparation to high treason”. On 8 September 1942 the Gestapo issued an order for protective custody and a short time after that he was sent to the concentration camp in Dachau. Communist comrades from Munich helped him to get a job at the detachment for disinfection. The big freedom of action there allowed him to become active in the resistance again. After his liberation Adi Maislinger passed on his experience to groups of the Action Reconciliation / Service for Peace. REFERENCES
