Adnams is a Regional Brewery founded in 1872 by George and Ernest Adnams in Southwold , Suffolk when they purchased the Sole Bay Brewery. HISTORY George and Ernest Adnams bought a Brewery in Southwold, a town in Suffolk , in 1872. The company has remained independent since then, producing a range of beers for distribution mainly in East Anglia . At the beginning of 2004, Adnams purchased land in neighbouring town Reydon to expand their business. BRIEF DETAILS The company produces Cask Ale and pasteurised bottled beers. Annual production is around 70,000 Barrel s. To this day, barrels of Adnams ale are delivered to the Pub s of Southwold by horse and dray. An advertising campaign has also been put in place, the slogan of which is "Beer from the Coast". Adnams is also a major regional wine merchant and pub company. BEERS Adnams produce three regular cask ales and six seasonal ales, plus three pasteurised bottled beers.
