Abc Countries




ABC countries is a term sometimes used to describe the South American countries of Argentina , Brazil and Chile , which are seen as three of the most powerful and wealthiest countries in South America.


ABC PACT


The ABC Pact takes its name from the countries, Argentina, Brazil and Chile, that sign an agreement the 15 of May of 1915 to foment the outer cooperation, the nonaggression and arbitration. It was a form to resist the American influence in the zone and to establish a balance and mechanisms of consultation between the three signatory countries. The official name was Consultation, Non-aggression pact and Arbitration. Although the treaty do not enter use and single it was ratified by Brazil, great part of the foreign policy of the three countries between 1915 to 1930 followed the base of consultations and mutual initiatives with which in the facts it was a luck of ABC Pact. Of this situation the name ABC Pact is used on the part of the press: when these countries impel initiatives of integration in South America in common or there are official agreements or actions in common in foreign policy or exist governments of ideological and political characteristic similars in the three countries.
