ABC-Paramount purchased all the record labels from , Command Performance Records , Colortone Records and Waldorf Music Hall Records . It had a sub-label Apt Records which only released singles, in the early sixties Impulse Records was started as a sub-label to distribute their jazz releases. A few years later Bluesway Records was started to distribute their blues artists.
