Zayd ibn Umar is the father of Said Ibn Zayd , a Companion Of Muhammad whom Sunni's honour as one of the The Ten Promised Paradise . He is also the uncle of Umar Ibn Al-Khattab , the future second Sunni Caliph . BIOGRAPHY Early life He was the son of Umar Ibn Nufayl . His mother and grandmother where the same woman(from Fehm tribe known as San'a )), since she married one of her sons after becoming a widow . Zayd ibn Umar had a son who followed the ancient ''), however, more sources are needed to dermine if the son inherited that religion from his father.
