Yiyang () is a city in Hunan province, China . In 2002, the city had a population of 4.5 millons, of which the city proper had 1.3 millions.

Yiyang was founded in the Qin Dynasty . During the Taiping Rebellion its name was changed to DeSheng county.

Yiyang has many hilly farmlands in its vicinity. The primary crop around Yiyang is Rice , with Tea also being planted.

Huaguxi , the local Hunanese Opera is very popular in Yiyang.
