Yad Mordechai (יד מרדכי) is a Kibbutz located 10 Km south of Ashkelon , Israel . The kibbutz was named for Mordechai Anielewicz . During many of Israel's Wars , most notably in 1948 and 1967 , the kibbutz sustained attack by Egypt . Today the kibbutz has about 700 inhabitants. EXTERNAL LINKS |
