On November 1 , 1938 , it was established in Wuhan by revolutionists such as Zhou Enlai . On February 28 , 1947 the publication of the ''Xin Hua Daily'' was forbidden by Kuomintang . Later, on April 23 , 1949 Xin Hua Daily began publication with official support. The newspaper reports economic, social and political events in Jiangsu province. Currently, the total circulation is 470,000. |
