The paper is published 7 days a week in the Broadsheet format. News coverage includes international news, news from Taiwan, Hong Kong , and mainland China, business news, sports, entertainment, lifestyle, etc. However, compared to the other two Chinese language dailies in Toronto, the ''World Journal'' is relatively weak in its coverage of Canadian news, focussing instead on news from Taiwan, Hong Kong, and mainland China.

SUPPLEMENTS (MAGAZINES)

The ''World Journal'' publishes several weekly magazines. The magazines come free as a supplement with the paper, and are printed on Newsprint instead of glossy paper.
