Some think that world federation would greatly decrease the risk of war. Also, if there were to a higher government more powerful than each of the National Governments , then all nations could be forced to sign an Environmental Pact or agreement such as the Kyoto Accord . On the other hand, some people think that this type of structure would eventually lead to governmental Corruption , perhaps even Tyranny . It is said that this global government would have far too much power. Additionally, the size of the bureaucracy as well as the extreme Red Tape potentially involved could be problematic as well, especially lacking efficiency and flexibility. |
