It began as a solo project of former and, most recently, Mike Connelly's Gods of Tundra label. Mike Connelly (also of Hair Police ) replaced Aaron Dilloway's tour spot in early 2005, due to Aaron Dilloway's departure for Nepal and to make arrangements for his marriage. Aaron Dilloway currently still records with the original members. Most of the Wolf Eyes releases are done by themselves, following in the tradition of bands such as Smegma. Their first major release was ''Dread'', this was released under the labels American Tapes and Hanson Records but distributed through Bulb Records, other major releases include ''Dead Hills'' on Troubleman and ''Burned Mind'' on Sub Pop . Wolf Eyes first two major tours were with Sonic Youth and Andrew W.K. PARTIAL DISCOGRAPHY 1997
