In 2002 he ran for Mayor of Washington against the Incumbent Anthony Williams . In July 2005 , at Union Template, Wilson, in a Sermon , stated that " Lesbianism is about to take over our community.” He also made remarks about women who made more money than men, and made extensive, descriptive, statements against Anal Sex and sex with Strap-on s.. He further stated that men and women were made for each other, citing a Hebrew word meaning "complimentary nature". Wilson refused to apologize for those remarks. {Link without Title} Wilson's speech attracted particular attention for the crude language that he used. As reported in the Washington Blade: '“Sisters making more money than brothers and it’s creating problems in families … that’s one of the reasons many of our women are becoming lesbians,” Wilson said. Numerous websites have used exerpts of an audio clip of the sermon, particularly Wilson's statement, "yo butt ain't made for that", in reference to anal sex, particularly homosexual male sex, which he referred to at length using analogies to Screw s and Nut s. |
