William C. Owens, Jr.

William Clarence Owens, Jr. is a Democratic member of the North Carolina General Assembly representing the state's first House district, including constituents in Camden , Currituck , Gates and Pasquotank counties. A businessman from Elizabeth City, North Carolina , Owens is currently (2003-2004 session) serving in his fifth term in the state House.

Owens filed for re-election from the realigned first House district ( Camden , Currituck , Pasquotank , and Tyrell counties) in the 2004 General Assembly Election ; he stands unopposed to be elected in November 2004 to his sixth term in the legislature.
