Whitman Middle School is a Middle School in Seattle , Washington , United States . The school, run by Seattle Public Schools , is one of Seattle's largest middle schools with an enrollment of 1,060 students as of 2005. Languages taught include Spanish , French and Japanese , and Whitman operates an exchange program with its sister school, Izushi Junior High School in Izushi , Japan .
