Kitaa/'''Vestgrønland''' (West Greenland) is the most populous of the three Counties (''amt'') of Greenland , being home to almost 90% of the total population. The County Seat is the Greenlandic Capital , Nuuk . It is bordered in the west by the Baffin Bay , Davis Strait , Labrador Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean . To the east lies East Greenland . All but three of the island territory's municipalities are located in West Greenland. These are (in geographical order, from south to north):
