It uses a slightly-modified version of the IntelliStar systems used for the regular TWC channel. The only differences are in the on-screen graphics used, and the fact that it runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week displaying current local weather information with Computer Graphics . It also can run TV Commercial s, but it shows no live video. The lady narration says "Your Current Conditions" over Current Conditions, and "Your Local Forecast" over 36 Hour Forecast. The WeatherScan is only available on Comcast Cable .

2005 ]]The cycle of graphics includes:

During Severe Weather , the green, yellow, and blue corners the screen has for each segment turn red, and only current conditions, radar, watches and warnings, and the immediate forecast are shown.

In November 2005, the L-Bar (aka The Corner Forecast) is debut similar to the special programming (which comes up later in December 2005) over WeatherScan. This L-Bar technology is similar to the one used by NBC Weather Plus . In addition to that, the lady narration says "The Regional Forecast" similar to Dan Chandler's narration, and "The Local Doppler Radar" similar to Allen Jackson's narration.
