Warren Tredrea




Tredrea was drafted by Port Adelaide in 1996 from Port Adelaide's SANFL team to play in the AFL, debuting for the Power when they joined the league in 1997 .

Tredrea consistently finishes amongst the top of league goalkicking and marks. He has won Port's Best and Fairest award 3 times, in 2001, 2004 and 2005. He has been selected to the All Australian Team four times including being named the 2004 vice-captain. Tredrea has played in two International Rules series (2001 and 2004), and had the honour of being acting captain of Port Adelaide in 2004 when Matthew Primus was injured. He took over the role full time at the beggining of 2006 but spent the first three games on the sidlines with a persistent knee injury.

In 2004, Tredrea kicked a career-best 81 goals as he led Port Adelaide to its first AFL Premiership , and raised the Premiership Cup with coach Mark Williams .
