At present, the side competes in the Western Division of the Minor Counties Championship. It joined the championship in 1988 when Somerset 's second eleven left the competition. CHAMPIONSHIPS Wales has never won the Minor Counties Championship. KNOCKOUT TROPHY Wales has never won the Minor Counties Cricket Association knockout cup.
