Wah Ching no longer has a stronghold in Northern California , but has a presence in the Southern California area in cities such as Rowland Heights , Diamond Bar , Torrance , Hacienda Heights and San Gabriel Valley (the 626 Area Code ). Their main enemy is Asian Boyz . Both gangs were featured on the television program, America's Most Wanted , following a vicious shooting at a pool hall. The Diamond Bar faction of Wah Ching, is a highly ethnic Chinese youth culture, and is actually composed of mainly rich young boys. They drive nice cars, and a large majority of the members actually receive high marks if they attend school. Highly influential in the 909, 626, and 714 area or heroin, opium and crack dealing the produce a large amount of financial income at a young age. Their attire is usual, similar to a casual business suit, always clean and proper. They disguise so well into the culture that many whites and Chicanos in the area cannot distinguish a Wah Ching member from another Asian person. In recent years, some Wah Ching members have as young as 16 have been dappling into murder. In 2001 a 17 year old Wah Ching member who actually was an AP student at Diamond Bar High School shoot and killed two members of the near by rival SGK (San Gabriel Killas) wile attending a football game. More recently (Dec. 2005) a 20yr-old WC member ran down a Chicano man with unknown gang affiliation in front of his house and repeatedly backed over the man beyond the point of death, while holding down the car's horn to ensure that neighbors in the area saw the act. Wah Ching first received widespread media attention because of the Golden Dragon Massacre involving another Chinese gang, the Chung Ching Yee (Joe Boys) . The event took place at the Golden Dragon Restaurant in San Francisco's Chinatown. The cause of the fight was vandalism by Wah Ching to the graves of several Joe Boy members. The Wah Ching gang today is one of the ruthless most known gang in California including with its enemy Asian Boyz (ABZ) . Another rival of Wah ching is Vietnamese Boyz (VBZ) who had allied themselves with Asian Boyz (ABZ). There are also several factions of Wah Ching.
