The wheel of time or '''wheel of history''' is a concept in several religions and philosophies, notably Dharmic Religion s such as Buddhism and Hinduism , which regard time as Cyclical and consisting of repeating ages.

The Wheel of time or Kalachakra is a Tantric deity that is also associated with Tibetan Tantric Buddhism , which encompasses four main schools and traditions which are Sakya , Nyingma , Kagyu and Gelug .

The Kalachakra is prophecied to bring about a cosmic challenge to the world within which (spiritual) conflict an Armageddon-style war will be waged which will see the advent of a new realm named Shambala and the coming of a messianical king of the kingdom.
