Warren's World - A March Of Dimes Advocacy Project

WARREN'S WORLD

Warren's World is a product of the Government Relations Department of Toronto-based March of Dimes Canada. Warren's World was created to raise awareness of disability issues during the 2006 Canadian federal election. Each office was visited for the three major political parties in all 22 Toronto ridings (a total of 66 campaign office visits. The initiative also tested to see whether or not campaign offices were accessible.

All results of the project were filmed, recorded, "blogged" and podcast through the official website, www.warrensworld.ca

Warren's World centers around Government Relations intern Warren Rupnarain, a 23-year old Ryerson University student studying the field practice of public policy under March of Dimes official Steven Christianson.

Warren is more than just passionate about raising awareness. He has a personal connection to the cause, as he uses a motorized wheelchair as a result of Cerebral Palsy.

Warren's World is non-profit and non-partisan.
