It is set in a world where large corporations use sheer force to get what they want, in this case two large coporations ( ACME and OMNI ) are fighting over planet Icarus, which holds a great wealth in "galaxite," a rare and valuable mineral which can be used for teleportation. You play Andy Whitmore, a mining specialist. Gordon Fox, the security specialist, has gone missing and you are put in charge of creating mining bases and finding him. ACME soon discovers mysterious alien technologies, such as a machine that can create doubles of certain objects. |
